Nail File Grit Chart - Also after removal, is everyone buffing nail and if so with what grit buffer? What is everyones favorite natural nail file? They're sanitizable, last quite well (longer than most files i've tried and i've tried lots in my search for the perfect file!), are lovely to use and the 240 grit. We now use the system for nail files and foot rasps where you get a base and put grit stickers on. Whereas a 240 will remove the top layers, but won't remove cuticle that easily. I like the nsi files.

Crystal nail files have a very low grit to them.so when you file they pretty much seal the free edge.
